ABOUT CLUB ALPENRESIDENZ
Club Alpenresidenz is an elegant apartment building in the heart of the historic village of Bad Gastein, located in the breathtaking Austrian Alps close to Salzburg. You can easily reach us by car or train in any season of the year. Our generous apartments invite you to a wonderful time with your family or with friends. Furnished with a small kitchenette this leaves you ample space to prepare breakfast together before heading up to the mountains or gather in the evening after a day out in Gastein’s superb nature over a meal. Our beautiful house, originally built as Kurhaus Dr. Thaler (healing spa Dr. Thaler) in 1926, with its stunning frescoes on the outside walls painted by Austrian sculptor Switbert Lobisser, adds to the impressive Belle Epoche architecture which defines Bad Gastein with its charming and picturesque character. Bad Gastein has much to offer at any time of the year, from its reonwned thermal spas to stunning mountain scenery. Our diverse alpine landscape offers adventure as well as relaxation opportunities amongst pristine nature for a much needed time out. We are looking forward to having you stay with us!

ABOUT BAD GASTEIN
Known for the healing energies of its thermal water, Bad Gastein still counts as one of the oldest and most renowned spas in Austria. Its distinct imperial look goes back well over 100 years when emperor Franz Josef took regular wellness retreats in this quaint alpine village. But the beneficial qualities of the radon infused water was already known to medieval Swiss alchemist Parcelsus or German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer who frequented Bad Gastein. Much later on artists and celebrities like Liza Minelli came to soak in the revitalizing springs originating in the depths of pristine nature in the Gastein mountains for thousands of years.
